GCC Upgrades its Integrated Management System to the Latest International Standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018

Global Chemical Company is proud to announce the upgrading of its Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems from ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and ISO 18001:2007 to the latest standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, respectively. The implementation of the world’s first International Standard for occupational health and safety (OH&S) ISO 45001:2018 represents a milestone for GCC, as it is the first company within the AlMansoori group to achieve the accreditation.

The establishment of the aforementioned Management System and its maintenance is certified by the Internationally Accredited Body, Bureau Veritas, for the manufacturing of Sodium Asphalt Sulphonate and supply of Oilfield Chemicals.

The upgrading to the latest standards will help GCC be more efficient and ensure the quality of its products and customer satisfaction. It will also help improve its environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste; and improve its OH&S performance by increasing safety, reducing workplace risks and enhancing health and well-being at work.  The maintenance of these standards will help GCC gain a competitive advantage and the trust of stakeholders.

Peter Henderson, General Manager of GCC, said “This upgrading of our Integrated Management System, and the additional training that our staff have been given, helps us to embed Health & Safety, Environmental protection, and management of Quality, more firmly into how we carry out all of our activities and will provide benefits to our business and our customers in coming years.”
